Alone and depending on the charity of her distant cousin, Sarah Killian
returns to London to find her younger brother William. She had left him
eight years ago to finish her education and promised to return to get
him and start a life for both of them. Seeking a position as a
governess, she settled to work for Lady Mouthearth who was not about to
let her stay without paying her keep. At the suggestion of her
husband, Lady Mouthearth allowed Sarah to attend social functions with
her and her two daughters. Sarah was a stunning young woman and noticed
by many of the men, married and single.
Still, she had not forgotten what her main reason for coming back to
London was and she continued to seek out her brother. She seemed to
intrigue the interest of Lord Peter Northrup, the fourth son of the Duke
of Marland, who was one of the most eligible men around and had every
young ladies eye.
Lord Northrup was captivated by this young woman and wanted to know more
about her. He realized that she not only sparked his interest but
captured his heart.
A wonderful story of passion, romance, mystery and above all love. One
that can be read over and over again and one never will tire of it.
