Chilton-Grizedale is determined to find Philip Whitmore the perfect wife. Hired by

Philip Whitmore has
lived for years in the desert unearthing treasures from ancient cities. He has survived

wants an heir before he passes on. Everything would have been fine too, except the day
before his marriage was supposed to happen he finds out about an ancient curse dooming his
future bride to death two days after the wedding! There is an antidote for the curse, but
it is broken off the stone. Who is willing to marry Philip with that curse hanging over
his head? If he does fall in love, will he be able to find the missing piece of the stone?
Philip is a
loveable hero. Clueless to the ways of the ton, he is gaining a not exactly favorable
reputation. To make matters worse, Philip doesn’t seem to care. He is only anxious to
get back into the field and do more research. He doesn’t see the need to marry a rich
and beautiful woman. He has all the land and money he needs and a wife will only slow him
down. Meredith is desperate to survive, and the mysterious Philip is her key to success.
If she can find him a rich bride, she’ll be set for life but Philip refuses all her
attempts to civilize him. And then there is the matter of the curse. . . .

MAN? Is a well-written romance which gained my attention from page one. There are a lot of
unexpected twists and turns in the plot, so I had to keep reading to find out what happens
next. Regency readers are sure to fall in love with this latest release from Jacquie
