Lindsay
Mayers life is shattered when she discovers her professor husband Griffen is having
an affair. Distraught, obviously abandoned and heartbroken, Lindsay finds salvation after
she confesses her disillusionment and grief to her friend, Chloe.
Determined to take
charge of her life, Lindsay agrees to try to put the entire sordid affair behind her and
accepts employment in the American Justice Department. From that moment on, readers are
well advised to make sure nothing will interrupt them from this wonderfully rendered
romance/intrigue/and action tale filled with great characters, well thought out scenes and
intense dialog.
Lindsay, whos
undergone a near complete transformation, with new hair color, eyes, weight loss and
wardrobe, has transformed herself into a splendid agent, one who is unexpectedly paired
with Griffen, who is and always has been an undercover CIA agent. But the startled man cant
figure out why his new partner seems to despise him, nor why he feels so drawn to her.
Unbeknownst to Lindsay, Griffen believes his wife was killed in an auto accident five
years prior, and is still grieving her loss.
Ah, mystery,
seduction and steamy physical and verbal interaction between these two make for a
thoroughly compelling read! Unfinished Business is a treat to the senses, and
though Ms. Lucas-Taylors first novel, her potent and professional writing style
defies description. Add Ms. Lucas-Taylor to the list of up and coming authors shes
definitely going to give todays popular authors a run for their money!
