THE WAY YOU LOOK TONIGHT by MacKenzie Taylor

Jordan “Jorie” Morrison loves working with underprivileged children, loves music and her cousin Lily.  When Jorie’s cousin returns from Europe with wealthy fiancée, James, Jorie thinks they are too young to get married.  But Lily is ecstatically happy so she doesn’t oppose their engagement.

What Jorie does oppose to is Simon Grant, James’ guardian.   Simon has made it obvious that he doesn’t agree with the engagement and even goes as far as to ask for a prenuptial agreement before marriage to protect James inheritance.

When Simon blackmails Jorie into helping him make the young couple see reason, Jorie reluctantly agrees for the fact that the money Simon gives her will benefit the disadvantaged children.

Jorie and Simon are like oil and water, fire and ice, allies....and lovers?

Delighting characters and a enchanting love story make this a hit for MacKenzie Taylor!

Jorie and Simon are a wonderful couple that make readers smile and sigh.  Jorie is a lady with a love of life, she’s down-to-earth and very passionate.  She is surprised (as readers will be) when she feels an instant attraction to the sensible, stuffy and subdued Simon Grant.

I loved this tale for the fact that it is a complete love story that focuses on Jorie and Simon’s feelings for one another, discovering each other through communicating and just spending time together.  Yes there is a mystery involved as well, someone is framing Lily’s father, that takes a backburner to the romance of the story, but readers won’t mind!  This tale also has one of the sweetest and most touching endings I have read in a long time.

This whole story worked for me.  MacKenzie Taylor writes a hit with THE WAY YOU LOOK TONIGHT!
