Caitlyn Montgomery woke up one morning
covered in blood and no memory of what happened the night before. With cuts on her arms, blood on her clothing and
her bedroom walls, she is terrified of what she may have done. All she remembers from the night before is that
she was to meet her twin sister Kelly at a local club, and Kelly not showing up. When the police show up at her house to inform her
that her estranged husband Josh has been found dead at his home, Caitlyn is shocked and

For years
Caitlyn has had the feeling that things are not always as they seem and has suffered from
blackouts. She was even admitted into the hospital for psychiatric treatment when
she became unstable after the death of her little girl.

mental illnesses for generations. With the death of Caitlyn’s husband, the police in
Savannah dig deeper into the rumors and secrets of the Montgomery clan. Everything
seems to lead back to Caitlyn and the fact that she was with all the victims hours,
sometimes minutes before their deaths. When
the police determine that Josh was murdered they look to their prime suspect, Caitlyn,
with questions that she doesn’t have the answers to.
Caitlyn
enlists the help of Adam Hunt, the new psychologist in town, who she hopes can help her
piece together what has happened in her life in the hopes that he will tell her that she
really isn’t crazy. But the one man that
she trusts and is becoming to care about has his own secrets and Caitlyn wonders if Adam
Hunt will be her salvation or her ultimate destruction.
I loved
this latest masterpiece by talented author Lisa Jackson.
I was riveted from the start and on the edge of my seat through it all. This is an exciting thriller that grabs the reader
right from the beginning and won’t let go even after the last page is read. It’s a thrilling roller coaster of emotions,
betrayals, murder, dark secrets and horrifying sins that will enthrall the reader.
Lisa
Jackson provides readers with a fast-paced suspense that is chalk full of disturbing yet
intriguing characters and skilled police Detectives who add a touch of humor and
intriguing spins to the story. Caitlyn
Montgomery is a fascinating heroine with some rare written about problems and this story
delves into the human psyche with a disturbing plot full of twists and turns that leave
readers stunned and eager for more. The
author is a master when it comes to romantic thrillers, one that I have been a fan of for
years and this book is spectacular and shouldn’t disappoint new or long-time fans. Lisa Jackson sets her own standards with women’s
fiction today weaving her magic and providing us with literary works of art.
