Muse
Summerville is a woman who many believe to be a party girl who moves
from man
to man. But those who see beneath the
surface and get to know the real woman inside know that she is driven,
compassionate and hopes to one day have the man of her dreams and
settle
down. But first, Muse must stay alive!
Muse
has evidence against James Davies, a New Orleans crime boss, for murder
and he is
hell bent on keeping her silent.
FBI Special
Agent Remi Beaulieux, is assigned to
protect Muse
Summerville at all costs. She is the key
to the states case against James Davies and she must testify or they
have nothing. Remi really doesn’t want to
spend his time
with a spoiled, wild girl, but the more he comes to see of Muse and
talk to
her, she begins to touch his heart.
Remi
and Muse run from danger and death and ultimately each other. Both of them live with a past where love is
known to hurt and it’s the very last thing on their minds.
Set in the steamy streets of
New Orleans where the
temperature
is always explosive, Muse and Remi try to stay ahead of the game and a
ruthless
killer, but can they stay together?
The
long-awaited spin-off to Sweet Revenge
with Muse Summerville’s story is finally here!
Sweet Suspicion lives
up to its predecessor and Muse’s sister, Grace’s story.
Nina Bruhns latest is full of heart-stopping
action, adventure and romance from start to finish, which makes it
absolutely
impossible to put down. As I read Sweet Suspicion, some of Remi’s
history was familiar to me, so I ended up digging through my Nina
Bruhns
collection and my suspicions were confirmed.
Remi Beaulieux was also in a previous release Catch Me If You Can, which was a thrill to
discover.
Ms.
Bruhns is highly acclaimed for her Cajun men, and I must say Remi
Beaulieux is
one of her best!! I didn’t think anyone
could surpass Creole from Sweet
Revenge but Remi smolders and his sexiness and heart are
irresistible.
For action, adventure, love, sensual and powerful characters, Nina
Bruhns is
the author to pick up and get ready for the ride of one’s life!
I
cannot wait for the next Nina Bruhns release and Sweet Suspicion comes highly recommended.
