For ten years Lady
Diana Fordham has waited, hoping that the Marquis of Templeton would somehow come to his
senses. Since she discovered his very well
kept secret she has been quite patient, until she finally decides to take matters in her
own hands. Sadly, her scheme has sort of
backfired.
When Temple learns
about Dianas so called kidnapping, he certainly knows what she really is
up to, and decides to ignore it. To Temples
dismay, his boss decides that he is to be the one to bring Diana back and he
has no other choice but to follow the orders he receives.
At odds with each
other from the moment Temple finds Diana, things soon get further complicated and Dianas
rescue becomes a race to save her life, as what was supposed to be Dianas little
scheme soon turns into an adventure of nightmarish proportions.
Elizabeth Boyles
Stealing the Bride is a fast-paced regency romance that keeps the readers
interest from beginning to end. Diana and
Temple make a perfect couple. Temples
line of work makes him steer clear of any emotional entanglements. Diana, on the other hand, is an intelligent lady
who is unwilling to give up the man that she knows is hers, however, even she realizes
that enough is enough and grows tired of waiting. Witty
dialogue and endearing characters draw the readers attention like a magnet. The plot has enough twists and turns to make this
book a highly entertaining read. Ms. Boyle
also adds a healthy dosage of humor to the mix. Stealing
the Bride will not disappoint lovers of regency romance.
