Rehab therapist April Stevens' dream
has finally come true. With financial help from a family friend she's opened Princeton
Sports Medicine, a rehabilitation clinic for sports injured athletes. Up until now it has
been tough going venturing into a largely male territory of sports medicine, but
thankfully her hard work is paying off. Prominent clients are seeking out her clinic and
soon she'll be able to get rid of her start up loan and begin thinking about expanding
services to the people in her community who wouldn't ordinarily be able to afford her
facility. That's why baseball star Ryne Anderson is so
important to her clinic. His knee injury is serious and will test her skills to the limit.
If she can turn Ryne into another success story, her clinic will flourish.
But the instant April meets Ryne, warmth washes over her. The macho
façade he puts on doesn't seem genuine. One look into his gorgeous eyes and she sees
determination, propriety and fear. Each moment she's with him, the magnetic pull grows
stronger. The sexy man truly unsettles her. Makes her feel feminine. Makes her forget she
is a professional.
She's going to have to be very careful with Ryne. She must not let
her feelings cloud her professional judgment. Because if she does, and she sends Ryne back
to work and he relapses it won't look good for her clinic and her dream might go up in
flames.
Baseball star Ryne Anderson isn't happy to be away from his New York
lady 'distractions'. But he has to obey the team doctor and reluctantly comes to Princeton
Sports rehabilitation facility to heal. The instant he meets April, he likes what he
sees and his attitude turns rather upbeat. She's a very appealing woman and he's drawn to
her good looks, her unique style and her confidence. Suddenly he doesn't miss New York
anymore. Especially now that he has this cute new 'distraction'. Now if he could only get
rid of her nerdy boyfriend!
Stealing April's Heart is a fun, heartwarming read. Kathye Quick has

individuals who soon discover there is more to life than their jobs. The chemistry between
April and Ryne is sweet from the get go, the plot is easy to follow and the writing flows
naturally. Stealing April's Heart is sure to steal your heart as well.
