USA Today bestselling author, Millie Criswell pens a delightful tale reminiscent of The
Runaway Bride.
Francie Morelli doesnt know it yet, but shes dumped her last groom. For the
third time in a row, Francie left her grooms at the altar. In this case, the groom in
question is lovesick Matt Carson. Matts stepbrother, Mark Fielding, has decided that
a little revenge is in order, and who better to do it than him.
When Mark finds out what Francie does at every one of her weddings, he devises a foolproof
plan. Problem is, his feelings get in the way and begin to interfere.
Francie just wants to live her own life. She knows for certain shed never have gone
as far as each planned wedding if it wasnt for her overbearing and interfering
mother. What Francie wants out of any relationship, especially one that could possibly
lead to marriage is that burst of love, that feeling that she absolutely needs that other
person. Without that, she just cant imagine marriage.
When Francie is approached by Mark Fielding, as a writer who wants her company, Baxter
Promotions, to promote his book, she gets deep, tingling feeling shes been looking
for in every relationship shes had. Only, this is business. Though Matt is a
photojournalist, there is no book, just a fantastic plot to get Francie close enough to
him to teach her a lesson.
Author Millie Criswell does a great job with her characters. The relationship between
Francie and her mother is all too real, especially while Francie is trying to make her own
choices in life. Francies mother, Josephine, will make every reader crack up.
Its like she never hears a word Francie says. Readers will also enjoy Matt and the
way his plans go awry. A few other delightful characters in STAYING SINGLE make this book
a great read.Reviewed by Robin Taylor for the Road to
Romance
