Kathleen Eagle pens a tale about love and
family in ONCE UPON A WEDDING. The connection that I felt towards
Camilles mom, Rosemary, who was suffering with cancer and the treatments, was
heart-felt and unfortunately the only real connection I formed with any of the characters. I didnt find much of a spark between Camille and Creed, which,
in part the story was to be about. I found their love
reconciled storyline lacking in emotions, communication and passion.
Even though I found the ladies in this family, the three generations, to be
compelling parts to the story, I found there wasnt much of a love story since the
wedding arrangements over took the story, and I at times wished Jordan and James had of
eloped or simply went to the Justice of the Peace.
Rosemary was the star, the heroine in this
tale for me. ONCE UPON A WEDDING wasnt up to par for
Kathleen Eagle in my opinion, but as a long-time fan, I will be waiting for whatever she
releases next.
