NEVER LET ME GO by Joan M. Fox

Horatio Tallwood-Smythe, the new Lord Wentworth, must marry to secure his new title and his fortune.  Horatio also inherits two young female charges, which he has no idea what to do with on his own.  Horatio hires his solicitor, Spoon, to advertise for a wife for him, one who must be strong, respected and be prepared to take on the responsibilities of his young charges.  Horatio is confident that it won’t take long to find a wife and has the future mapped out as such that, he will continue on with his life as usual.

When Horatio encounters a young woman traveling alone, he is perplexed at her independence, her sass and everything about her.  Lady Bountiful, as Horatio thinks of her, is like no woman he has ever known and he is intrigued by her.  When Lady Bountiful suffers a sprained ankle while walking, Horatio takes care of her and takes her to the home of his friend, only to discover that it was the lady’s intended destination to begin with.

Anabel Satterley and Horatio soon find themselves the project for matchmakers.  Their friends and entourage set out to bring Anabel and Horatio together, solving all of their problems.  But are Anabel and Horatio a perfect match?  Can they overcome the obstacles in their path to happiness?

NEVER LET ME GO by Joan M. Fox is positively delightful.  This is a fun, fast-paced read that entertains, keeps one riveted and smiling over the antics of Horatio and Anabel’s friends and sighing with the pleasure of true love.  Ms. Fox depicts the Regency Era with accuracy and class.  NEVER LET ME GO is wonderful from start to finish and one that readers should not miss.  It is wonderfully written and draws the reader in.  A wonderful addition to one’s library.
