Deborah
Cavendish always believed that the recurring dream she had of her at
the age of
twelve and marrying the son and heir of Duke Roxton who had been exiled
to be
just that, a dream. After their
marriage, the young groom had been whisked away to Rome and Deborah would not
have any
contact at all with him. But now at the age of twenty-one, Deborah
learns that
it was no dream and she is indeed the wife of Julian, the Marquis of
Alston.
Deborah and
Julian meet again, on her brother’s estate, and she is unaware of who
he
is. But Julian realizes that Deborah is
the young woman he married so long ago.
Julian being drawn to Deborah hides his identity
from her in hopes of making
her his real wife. Will Deborah be
Julian’s forever when she learns the truth about his real identity?
The Midnight Marriage is a wonderful
Historical romance
which is about two people destined to be together.
This story left me feeling cozy and warm when
I was done and I enjoyed Deborah and Julian very much.
This was the first tale by Lucinda Brant,
which I am very sad to say, but this won’t be my last.
I enjoy Historical romances, only from time to
time and usually from the same authors. I
will definitely add Ms. Brant to my must buy
list. The love in this story is
profound, we watch it bloom and can feel it all. The
Midnight Marriage is not to be missed!
