Known
for his wonderful bedside manner but horrid social skills, Dr. Luke Walker is
sentenced to work at a homeopathic clinic every Saturday for three months. There he meets his new boss, Faith McDowell, and
suddenly the man who has never needed anyone, needs this woman.
Faith is wearing
herself out trying to get the new clinic off the ground.
When Dr. Walker makes a disparaging remark about the clinic that hits the
media, everything she has worked for starts to slip through her fingers. So, how could she possibly want a man who may
cause the destruction of her hard work, so badly?
Attracted to, yet
at odds with each other, Luke and Faith argue and fight a lot, causing their passion to
flow out of the pages and directly to the reader. Both
are strong and honorable medical professionals, their main goal has always been to save
lives and ease pain. Now they are finding
their lives in an upheaval due to their budding emotions.
This is a great romantic book with all the emotions of two people in love
and fighting it, as well as the emotions of medical personnel and their patients. I definitely recommend this story to
everyone.
