Quinn
McGrath is not prepared for what he finds when he arrives at the
dilapidated
Mar Brisas Resort on beautiful St. Joseph’s
Island, Florida.
He is there to work out a real estate deal with a
man named Nick
Whitaker, but “Nick” is not at all what he expected.
Quinn knows that when he meets “the one”
there will be no doubt, but he never expected her to drop right into
his
arms. Can he convince the falling angel
that they have a future?
Nicole
Whitaker is trying to save her families Mar Brisas Resort after
Hurricane
Dante’s damage and lack of insurance money to make the repairs. Mar Brisas is her link to the past and she
will do anything to keep from losing it.
To avoid the buyout of her property Nicole is
avoiding Quinn McGrath, the
real estate mogul sent to buy it. When
she falls into “Mac’s” arms she feels things she has never felt
before…desire,
lust, and maybe love. When she realizes
her “Mac” and Quinn McGrath are the same, she feels very different
things…anger,
betrayal and hatred. Can she ever
trust
Mac again, especially with her heart?
Like A Hurricane is a delightful, feel
good book
about two people destined to be together but aren’t sure how to grasp
that
destiny. Quinn and Nicole are two
characters that have you rooting for them from the very first chapter. Their love is instant and undeniable and
their passion sizzles throughout the book.
These are definitely two characters worth reading
about and I can’t discount
the secondary characters; some of who I would like to show up in books
of their
own.
Roxanne St.
Claire’s talent pours from the pages of her books and she is an up and
coming
talent to keep an eye on. Like
A Hurricane is the second
Roxanne St. Clair book I have had the pleasure of reading.
The characters she writes are loveable and
realistic. Ms. St. Claire knows just how
to give you an instant connection with her characters. If
you’re looking for a book that makes you
laugh, smile and cheer, then this is the book for you.
