This
Christmas, unwrap a few Bad Boys!!
He
Sees You When You Are Sleeping - Lori Foster
For
months Booker Dean has wanted his neighbour, Frances Kennedy, and this Christmas he plans
to give himself the only present he wants. Frances
and Booker have always been friends. So what, shes attracted to him, its never going
to happen for them. She would rather have him
as her friend than nothing at all.
But
what happens when Booker makes his intentions clear to Frances? Can Booker and Frances be lovers as well as
friends?
Lori
Foster delights readers with this cute, witty and enchanting tale of two people who have
wanted each other for months, but have never acted on their attraction. Booker is a sweetheart of a man, who tugs at ones
heart strings and is determined to finally lay claim to the woman he wants to spend the
rest of his life with. Bookers brother
Axel and his friend Cary, are very appealing in this tale, adding a dash of humour to the
Christmas tidings. Poor Frances doesnt
know what hits her when Booker reveals his intentions towards her. A wonderful Lori Foster tale. I am hoping that Axel and Cary get their own tales
someday too!
All
She Wants for Christmas - Janelle Denison
Faith
Roberts has only one thing on her Christmas wish list this year...Dr. Matthew Carlton. One hot, unforgettable night with this playboy
doctor is all that Faith has been dreaming about. Once
her tryst with Matthew is over, Faith will begin dating seriously again, but she has to
get the craving she has for Matthew out of her system first. The day he played Santa is the day his life
changed forever. Matthew has wanted Faith Roberts for nearly a year and
when she sits on Santas lap and then tells him that all she wants for
Christmas is him, he agrees to fulfil her every wish...and then some!
With
Christmas magic, the perfect hero, sexiness and every wish fulfilled, readers wont
be wishing for anything else when done reading All She Wants for Christmas by
Janelle Denison. Matthew shows Faith, who has
had one bad relationship after another, just how good a relationship can be...with the
right man! This tale is a heart warming, sexy
and wonderfully written tale by Ms. Denison to add to ones keeper shelf. Sitting on Santas knee has never been so
naughty!
Turning
Up the Heat - Susan Donovan
Valerie
Matthews has a fantasy she hopes to fulfil this lonely Christmas... to have sex with a
stranger! Valerie is all dressed up, has
cooked a full Christmas meal and thinks of ways for her fantasy to become reality. When her furnace stops working and shes
expecting the repairman, she hopes that he will be a man willing to play in her fantasy. The moment Valerie sees Earl, she yearns to feel
his hands on her. Earl is everything Valerie
has ever wanted in a man. But can Earl handle
Valerie as well as he handles his wrench?
I
loved Susan Donovans novella, Turning Up the Heat. This tale had me laughing and totally intrigued. Ms. Donovan brings on the heat and it gets really
steamy as Earl and Valerie play out some of their personal fantasies together. Thoroughly enjoyable with a few surprises along
the way to keep it even more interesting!
Baby,
Its Cold Outside - Donna Kauffman
Ten
years ago, Jack Morgan and Suzanna York left Rogues Hollow to attend college. At the time, neither thought their good-bye would
be the end since they had agreed to remain friends. But
Suzanna never kept her end of their agreement, finding life without Jack more appealing
and enjoyable. Now they are both home for the
holidays and both feel the instant chemistry and heat they have always felt for one
another. Susanna and Jack have been apart for
ten years can they find their way back to each other after broken promises and broken
hearts?
I
enjoyed these very believable characters and their undeniable passion for each other. Donna Kauffman shows that the Christmas holidays
are the time for forgiveness, love and that anything is possible. A wonderful endearing Christmas tale. Baby, Its Cold Outside is also the
first tale in Ms. Kauffmans Rogues Hollow Series. I cant wait to read the rest of this series!
A
Blue Christmas - Alison Kent
Jessie
Buchanan is home to prove that Thomas Blue Miller is not the only man that can
satisfy her in bed. For years, she has had to
fake her satisfaction with her partners who have never measured up to Blue. Years ago she left September, Texas, for bigger
and better things. When she left, it was
heartbreaking for her, since she would be leaving Blue behind. She always planned on returning and spending the
rest of her life with Blue, but city lights and city life were too distracting and she
never returned home. Blue Miller has never
forgotten Jessie or the broken heart he was left with when she told him that love wasnt
enough to make her stay in September. Now she
is back and hoping to just pick up right where they left off all those years ago. Blue swore he would never fall for Jessies
wiles or gorgeous body again. But he finds
that he cant deny his attraction to her and plans on showing her exactly what shes
been missing.
I
think this was one of my favourite tales in this anthology.
Two people reconciling after so many years apart is the perfect Christmas story. Blue and Jessie might have been apart but deep
within each other they knew that there would be no other people for them in the world. Alison Kent writes a deliciously heart warming
tale of a love that transcends time and makes Christmas for two wonderful characters, the
best it has ever been. Blue and Jessie learn
that home is where ever the heart is!
The
Nutcracker Sweet - Nancy Warren
Daniel
Jarvis and Tara Ellison have always disagreed on many things. Working in the same office day after day, seems to
ignite their tempers and their pride. When
Daniel makes snide commend about Tara needing to get laid, within her hearing, and then
exchanging secret Santa gifts, Daniel never expected to be up for the job. His gift from Tara is a night of sexual pleasure
at a hotel with her. Can Daniel and Tara come
together in the bedroom when they cant get along outside of it?
Nancy
Warren brings together two people who are complete opposites. They argue, bicker and growl at each other
whenever they are in close range of one another, it was comical to watch them at work and
in the bedroom. Neither Daniel or Tara dare
relinquish their pride and just agree to disagree. A
snappy and humourous tale that ends this anthology on a very pleasing note. Ms. Warren captures readers and hold them hostage
until the very end.
This
anthology is an amazing book to be read anytime of the year. Yes, it is full of Christmas stories of love,
magic, spirit and the naughty and nice, but it is the authors in this anthology that bring
us the fabulous writings, imaginations and love that we can all appreciate anytime. Six fantastic authors come together to bring us
all tidings of great joy. All that came to
mind after reading JINGLE BELL ROCK for this reviewer
was, Rock On Authors, Rock On!!
