(BOOK 2 IN THE FADED PHOTOGRAPH SERIES)
One of the best parts of the books is the author’s preface. She
knows the pain of Hidden Things and uses that pain (now healed) to touch
the lives of others who also may suffer the shame and ache of hidden
things. It is a story that will touch your heart.
Kylie
Rollins, the blissfully ignorant wife-to-be of Matthew has the life rug
pulled out from under her when she receives a wedding invitation meant
for her recently deceased mother. Inside the invitation is a faded
photograph that will forever change Kylie’s life.
The images
in the picture send her on a search for her ‘roots’. Along the way the
blissful world she knew is shattered, but in its place sprouts a vine of
truth, from which blossoms a new relationship with God, the addition of
grandparents she never knew existed and peace.
The search
for truth isn’t easy and Kylie’s forced to take a hard look at life. To
remain true to herself and to do the right thing in the bounds of her
new relationship with God, Kylie must give up something dear. And, if
she does, where will she end up? Suspended between the old life and new
– never fitting in? Or will Kylie find her way in the new world?
It’s a
riveting, spinning ride to the completely satisfying end.
HIDDEN
THINGS is a sweet romance, showing how God heals the hurting and gives
peace to the broken hearted - with a little help from His angels on
earth which we like to call - family. The story’s faith message is not
preachy, but is skillfully threaded through Kylie’s life and although it
is book 2, Hidden Things is definitely a stand alone novel.
I highly
recommend HIDDEN THINGS - a sweet story with just enough soul emotion to
make you sigh. Now Available..,
