Susan Andersen spins a wonderfully entertaining, sexy and sassy read that readers
won’t be able to put down once they have started.
Lily’s daily ritual for beauty, her sassiness, her kick-butt heels are
entertaining and readers will love her for her ability to make everyone around her
comfortable and for her loyalty to Zach’s sister Glynnis. There is more to Lily than just her killer body
and gorgeous looks than what she shows to the world, like her intelligence and courage and
her insecurities about her plump figure. She
is a wonderful heroine and it is exciting watching her match Zach step for step, comeback
for comeback.
Zach is an alpha male that has always believed in taking care of the females of the
world. He carries his pride like a shield, is stubborn and sexy as sin! He is unprepared for Lily and for the intense
feelings that she brings out in him. I found
Zach’s take charge attitude a little overbearing, yet endearing. It is Zach’s character and career to take
care of others and since it is his sister that is in danger, so I let it go and enjoyed
his feelings of helplessness to get his sister back.
Ms. Andersen provides readers with surprises, twists and turns and when you think the
danger is over.....think again! Readers
won’t be able to turn the pages of this book fast enough. Ms. Anderson brings together a Marilyn Monroe
lookalike with intelligence and a tough, bad boy Marine who knock each others socks off
and endear each other to readers hearts.
It’s a wild ride with Zach and Lily so hang on to your books for dear life!
