Kate Chilton has
always thought she had the perfect world. She
has two wonderful boys, she had been in love with her husband, who died of a heart attack
in the prime of his life - what more could a woman ask for than love, a family and
financial security? The threads of happiness
begin to unravel as Kate discovers that her husband was having an affair with another
woman shortly before he died a year earlier and that the architectural company he created
is unable to afford to pay her the income from his share of the partnership. Her world
tumbles around her at the knowledge that her wonderful husband had left her in financially
straitened circumstances and left her heart in a void.
Randall
Johnson, a Texan who has worked his way up from nothing in the corporate world, has just
met Kate but the circumstances of their meeting - her refusal to go out on a date with him
- leaves him puzzled and unable to think of any other woman. Kate hasn't wanted to date any man out of
deference for her dead husband's memory but she quickly changes her mind after finding out
about his infidelity.
The
first of several hot sexual scenes follows and from this moment on, Randall cannot forget
Kate and their lives become entwined in a complicated dance of feelings, circumstances and
dealing with the past. Will Randall Johnson
win Kate over even though he has more money than he knows what to do with? And will Kate realize the present and the future
isn't always a repetition of the past?
I
hope you will purchase A BRIDGE TO LOVE and find out for yourself. After all, you will be able to experience an
emotionally compelling novel about love the second time around...
