Paranormal Romance

BORN OF NIGHT by Celeste Anwar

New Orleans, Mardi Gras – Present Day

Gabriel Benoit loved Mardi Gras Time.  This year it was different though, there was a war raging on in the city that the average person couldn’t even see. The Lycans and Vampires were at war with the Lycans losing more ground each day.  Gabriel knew it was dangerous to be here but he couldn’t seem to stay away.  When he catches a scent in the air he knows he has to find the owner.  What he finds is a young, beautiful woman you has no clue that she is a Lycan.  Now all Gabriel has to do is stake a claim before anyone else does.

Jessica Talvert has come to New Orleans looking for her past.  She has no idea about her roots, but arriving during Mardi Gras was an exciting way to start her hunt.  When a thief grabs her necklace and runs, she thinks she has lost the only connection she has to her real parents.  When a half naked gorgeous man retrieves her necklace and directs her to a man who can fix her necklace, she doesn’t know what to think.  Her necklace is not an ordinary necklace; it’s a protection against a wolf.  Why did her real parents leave her this kind of a necklace?

Jessica and Gabriel can’t keep their hands off each other. But Jessica is convinced once Gabriel gets what he wants he will leave.  Gabriel is breaking all the pack rules to be with her.  Will he be able to convince her about the Lycans and Vampires?  Can he save her from the rest of the pack?  What about her real parents?

Celeste Anwar is a great paranormal writer.  I love her werewolves.  This is an action packed tale of a war between Vampires and Lycans.  Who wouldn’t fall for a hunk like Gabriel?  He claims Jessica like any alpha male would and lets nothing stand in his way.  If you like werewolves and vampires don’t pass this one up.
