THE ROSE OF YORK: LOVE AND WAR

End Table Books -- October 2003

ISBN: 0975126407

Adventure, deadly passion and royal intrigue turn the pages of The Rose of York: Love & War as the future Richard III and the traitor's daughter Anne Neville are brought together by love, then swept apart by war. One of History's greatest love stories, their unforgettable drama unfolds against the sweep of England's Wars of the Roses, perhaps to inspire Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet a century later.

THE ROSE OF YORK: LOVE AND WAR by Sandra Worth

What people are saying about LOVE AND WAR:

"A deftly written, reader engaging, thoroughly entertaining and enthusiastically recommended historical novel which documents its author as a gifted literary talent."

--Midwest Book Review

"If you liked Jean Plaidy, you''ll love Sandra Worth... Both writers take us back to the tumultuous era known as the Wars of the Roses. They bring historical figures to life and devise plots and counter plots of royal intrigue as compelling as any high-tech thriller. Love & War is a delight for any historical lover."

--The Romantic Times, Flavia's Book Talk

"One finds the story wonderful in it's historical content, yet I find the human side of this man most intriguing.  The personal look into his heart and soul as no one has ever done before will hold and captivate the reader."

--Louise Riveiro-Mitchell, The Road to Romance
