Featured Author Spots
-- Full page feature. Page includes pics, bio, pub info, book blurbs, note to readers and you can run a
contest on the page if you choose [see below for contest conditions --
included in Feature Author Spot price]. Must be booked prior to
the 15th of the previous month to guarantee next month run. All
pics and info to be sent by author. Featured authors have pic and
blurb on main page and blurb in newsletter, as well as mention on other
key pages through the site.

Banner
Ads -- We run standard
size, 468x60, max 4 frames, supplied by author in jpg or gif format. There are no
exceptions to this size and format, so please be sure that your banner will fit
before booking. Banners will be linked to whatever you want.
Banners are all run in rotation on all main pages.
RTR runs calendar months
only for all banners and covers. Please note -- after May 1st we
will no longer run erotica banners.

Book Cover Ads:
RTR runs calendar

Main Site:
Cover will be placed on all 7 authors listing pages, linked to whatever you want
and will have text underneath with your name and title.
Again, graphic must be supplied and resizable to 100 pixels wide.
Just to clarify this will take you to the
Bravenet site please hit confirm on that site. Then you can close
the window once it's confirmed. You do not have to provide credit
card information.

Authors Connection
-- URL listing, new releases. Send us your site URL, name and info about upcoming
books. Previous releases will not be listed here unless their
release date is within 3
months. Canadian authors will be noted with a Maple Leaf graphic.

First
Timer's Club -- newly published authors, first romance book. Your page
can include a bio, picture, cover and blurb plus anything else unique about you. The
book will be linked to Amazon if it's listed, and if your next release is already planned,
mention will be made of that too. The page will stay online until your next book is
released. You'll need to supply a bio, book blurb, pic of the book and
of yourself via email -- the page will not be made up
otherwise. These pages are not updated.

Reviews
-- to be published on Road to Romance only. Acceptance will be based on having a
reviewer available for your book, and reviewers always have the choice of what they
review.
If you send a book unsolicited, even if we've reviewed you in the
past, the reviewer receiving the book is under no obligation to do the review.
Furthermore, we will not return the book to you unless you make arrangements
before hand. You will be paying for
packaging, postage and any other costs incurred.
No review books will be returned unless prior
arrangements are made with me BEFORE the book is posted to the reviewer. All costs
for packaging and post will be incurred by the author making the request.
If you make a review request and we find
a reviewer for you, please reply that you've received our note about
sending the book. We'll attempt to contact you twice, and after
that won't be responsible for doing the review. It will come off the
list and the request will be considered void.
RTR will review genres outside romance
that are complimentary to the genre. It's up to management to
decide what is complimentary and what isn't. RTR accepts books for
review in the following genres: all romance sub-genres, series
romance, women's fiction, mystery/suspense, non-fiction/self-help if
it's relevant to women. We no longer accept erotic or highly
sensual books.
All formats
accepted but some reviewers won't take ebooks -- it's their choice. Galleys and
ARC's are fine, bound or not. Please don't request a review before your
book is edited and as ready for publication as possible. If you
are waiting on the final editing and the major changes have already been
made, we'll consider it. The review is of the book that readers
will read -- major editing can change a book, meaning if we review it
prior to that we're not reviewing the same book.
The information posted on a review cannot
be changed once the review is posted. The exceptions to this are
typos or information in the review that is incorrect and our fault.
We apologize in advance for those -- stuff happens.
As with
other sites, all the reviewers at Road to Romance volunteer their
time. We will try to get your book done in a timely manner,
however I won't set deadlines for the reviews to be done. The usual turn around can be anywhere from 2 to 6 weeks from the time
the reviewer gets the book.

NOTE: All reviews posted on the site are our
reviewers opinion, unpaid and un-influenced by the author or publisher. All recommended
or featured books are the choices of our reviewers. Interviews are
granted when our interviewer wants to grant them. Banner ads are paid
advertising and do not suggest endorsement by RTR in any way. On the main
site, book covers are placed at my leisure. They are all books available
through Amazon.com, as this generates money for the site. These are not
endorsements of one book over another, and at this time will not be placed
at anyone's request.
Advertising options can change at any time.
For all free services,
a link to The Road to Romance from your site is requested. I ask that you mention contests
in newsletters and on your site, and remove links to the contests promptly afterwards.
Reviews, once sent to you by the review coordinator, can be used in part or full
for promotion as long as The Road to Romance is credited, preferably with the reviewers
full name in every place that it's used. No one is authorized to add a
star-type rating to RTR reviews.
